Animal Hope & Liberty e.V. is a German animal welfare organization operating a sanctuary in Romania that rescues and cares for abused, abandoned, and stray dogs facing dire circumstances. Housing approximately 200 dogs, the facility provides shelter, food, medical care, and rehabilitation for traumatized animals while facilitating adoptions through a network of foster homes in Germany. Entirely donation-funded, the organization combines rescue operations with sustainable animal welfare advocacy to address the severe treatment of street dogs in Romania.
