WITAS e.V. is a wildlife protection and animal welfare organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating injured, orphaned, and hunted wild animals. Founded in 2009 by Hartmann Jenal, the organization operates a wildlife rescue station in Überherrn, Germany, where it provides medical care and rehabilitation for foxes, badgers, martens, and other species before release into the wild. Through advocacy, education, and political engagement, WITAS promotes wildlife protection policies across Germany and Luxembourg.
