NærVet offers at-home euthanasia for dogs and cats, helping pets and their families say goodbye in calm, safe and familiar surroundings.

The service is created with care, presence and respect, so the final moment can be as peaceful, gentle and loving as possible for both the pet and the family. NærVet visits homes on Lolland, Falster, Bogø, Møn and South Zealand.

NærVet is run by veterinarian Anja, who has a special passion for family pets. She graduated as a veterinarian in 2021 and has worked at Maribo Dyrehospital for three years. Through her work, she has experienced how important it is to create safety, calm and presence when a pet reaches the end of life.

Anja started NærVet because she wants pets to be able to say goodbye at home, where they feel safe and have lived their life. Her goal is that every farewell is shaped by calm, care and presence, giving both the pet and the owner a dignified and peaceful final moment.
