Modern veterinary clinic with rehabilitation facilities
Dyrlægegårdens Dyreklinik began in 2009 under the name Dyrlægegårdens Hundecenter. Veterinarians Kurt Larsen and Kim Rasmussen, together with dog and cat boarding owner Karen K. Hansen, had a vision to create something new for dogs on Lolland-Falster.
The result was a dog centre offering swimming, waterwalker, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, massage and related services. Authorised veterinary nurse Rikke E. Klausen, who is now co-owner, was employed to manage the rehabilitation work and the daily operation of the centre.
As the demand for veterinary treatment grew, the first veterinary consultations were offered at the clinic about a year and a half later. Since then, the clinic has developed into a fully equipped and modern veterinary clinic with veterinarians, authorised veterinary nurses, students, clinic staff, cleaning staff and bookkeeping support.
