💙 What is a Foundation?

A foundation is a non-profit entity established to support, promote, or fund charitable, educational, scientific, cultural, or social causes. Unlike a membership association, a foundation is typically created to provide grants, financial support, or direct assistance to projects and initiatives that benefit the public or a specific cause.

Foundations often work by:

🐾 Supporting charitable and welfare projects.
🤝 Providing grants or financial assistance.
🌍 Promoting education, research, and awareness.
❤️ Bringing together donors, volunteers, and partners to create a positive impact.
📈 Investing in long-term solutions that benefit communities, people, or animals.

A foundation’s primary purpose is not to generate profit, but to create lasting value and support meaningful initiatives that improve society.

In short:
A foundation is an independent, non-profit organisation created to support and strengthen causes that make a positive difference.
